Find pictures of your dream home, décor for your business or dream home, positive quotes, places you want to live or travel, from magazines, or flyers. Glue or tape them onto a poster board (find them at Wal-Mart, Target, or Dollar Store) and hang on the wall where you can see it everyday.

You can create a digital vision board too, by using Pinterest. Name your board, “Vision Board”, and start looking for images of houses, furniture, luxury items, quotes, and things you want to have someday. You can have two boards if you like, a personal board and a business board. Look at your vision boards daily. Your subconscious mind picks up these visuals and helps you focus on them.

#2 Create a Beautiful Space

It goes without saying that when you de-clutter your space, it removes old, stale energy and re-energizes the room with a vibrant feel. Simplify this process by de-cluttering only one room at a time. Spend 15 to 30 minutes de-cluttering per day.

Ask yourself: do you really need this or even use it regularly? Do you love it? Does it bring you joy? If the answer to any of these is no, then recycle, donate, or give it to someone who might want it. Put it in the Donate box for these purposes.

You’ll need 2 boxes or use black garbage bags. Use black garbage bags so you don’t see the items you already decided to get rid of! Make executive decisions and put the items in each of the containers labeled below.

# Journaling

I’ve heard so much about the rewards of journaling daily. A lot of people swear by it. According to Michael Hyatt a best selling author and social media guru, journaling has given him clarity and insight. You can read more about Michael Hyatt and journaling Michael Hyatt Journaling.

As a productivity tool, journaling allows you to rediscover yourself by looking back and reading any progress you made or setbacks that you will avoid in the future. If writing in notebooks is not your thing, there are digital journals available.

Dad Writes A Letter

Did you see the movie Taken? If not, here’s the Taken Movie trailer from IMDb.  I’m sharing this little humorous article from The Daily Megabyte, that caught my eye this morning. Parents of teenagers will get a kick out of this.  I did! I like majority of Liam Neeson’s movies too.  This is one of them.

The article is titled “Clever Dad Notices Mess In the Kitchen, Writes Hilarious Letter”.  The father in the story is a stay-at-home dad and was frustrated with his kids leaving a mess everywhere. So, the  clever father (obviously saw the movie, Taken) decides to leave them this note:
